My passion for photography began in the 1980s when my wife gifted me an Olympus OM10 film camera. I initially focused on capturing aircraft, but challenges arose when I couldn't complete the photographic process from shooting to printing due to limited space to set up a darkroom. One frustrating experience, when a lab double-exposed a cherished photo of my young children with images from an airshow, led me to explore solutions.
This setback introduced me to Adobe Photoshop, a revelation that unlocked endless creative possibilities. Through self-guided learning and tutorials, I quickly mastered photo restoration, eventually launching a successful business specializing in repairing vintage images. The rise of digital cameras further fuelled my passion, making it easier to enhance photos and offer creative restorations.
Over time, I rekindled my love for photography, expanding my skills through practice and study. I'm always eager for feedback on my work as I continue my journey to become an even more accomplished photographer.
